Kane's Ole Float Shoppe
Kane recently celebrated their 150th Birthday. Te gang at the Kane Senior
Center decided to have an "Ole Fashion Root Beer Float Shoppe!" Oh, the fun
that ensued....from picking the "turn of the century" theme, to deciding what
to serve, to decorating the center, to fnding costumes to getting everything
just perfect for the event. Hats of to Senior Center member, Suellen Snapp,
for playing the piano for three hours....her selections were wonderful and so
added to the total ambience of the evening. It was an evening we are not soon
to forget as we sold hundreds of foats and visited with hundreds of Kane folk,
young and old!
