1. MP3EI and Its Achievements
a. In the Absence of Repelita (Integrated Five-Year Development
Plan) and GBHN (Guildelines);
b. In the presence of Economic Growth (6% average, G20), Bonus
Demography, Democracy is on the right track and direction, and
political stability;
c. Commitment for MP3EI 2011-25 (350 real sector projects/Rp
2.300 T; 1048 infrastructure projects/Rp 2.330T)
d. Groundbreaked projects as of May 2014. 174 Real Sector
Projects/Rp 441 T (19%); 204 Infrastructure Projects/Rp 398T
(17%)

2. Our Development: Problems and Challenges
a. Growth Yes, Environmentally friendly is Necessary, Distribution is
still priority;
b. Energy and Food Security, Price Stability, Maritimization and
Connectivity;
c. Less Corruption Practice and Transparency;
d. HRD for competition, People participation and Leadership;
e. Modern Business/Governance practice.

3. Just Like Others, Indonesia definitely also needs Technology
a. Technology in the planning;
b. National vs. Sectoral needs (balanced);
c. Connecting Archipelago and Unity;
d. Short Term and Long Term Focused (Resouces, Geo-spatial,
Environment and Disaster, Defense, Fishery, ICT, and R/D)

4. ICT: Today and Future Technology
a. Main trigger for new and networked economy;
b. Cross-sector and borderless;
c. Concern for Local Contents;

5. Satellite: not merely a Repeater in the sky
a. Indonesia launched Satellite system in 1976 (the 2
nd
in the world);
b. Less Developed for Communication (slot / transponder problem);
c. Indonesia Earth Observation Satellite (InaSAT Pertama).
