Electronics

Students will be allowed to use Internet


enabled devices at my discretion. We will
use these tools as a resource for
educational purposes ONLY! School issued
iPad use will be monitored to make sure that
students are on task.

Cell phones & iPods will not be used freely
in my room. Classrooms are for education,
and they will be used only if the lesson
requires them to be utilized. Other times
they will stay in your childs bag, pocket, or
an area that I designate for devices.

More Important Information
Late work Policy
- Students must complete and return
assignments on time.

- After the due date, students will have 3 days
to turn the missing assignment in, 10 points
will be deducted for each day late. Students
will be assigned an Academic Lunch to
make up the missing assignment. An M
should be entered in the gradebook to notify
parents of the missing assignment.

- A Tuesday School will be assigned to
students that have not completed the missing
assignment within 2 days of having Academic
Lunch.

- After 3 days, a 0 will be entered into the
gradebook; a notation should be listed beside
the grade that it was not turned in.
Students will have 1 day for every
absence/extra-curricular absence to make up
any assignments or exams.

- Students will have 1 week from the time a
test or assignment is given back to retake the
test or assignment for a high grade of a 70
(unless otherwise noted on a students IEP).

Website
Please note that I will update the class
website with information on assignments, and
weekly activities so that parents can see what
we are up to in class. Assigned items will also
be available for students and parents to print if
their child has misplaced, is missing an
assignment, or wants to be proactive if they
are absent.
Google Classroom
Students will also be added to their
appropriate classroom on
classroom.google.com (with their school
email) for digital course correspondence.
