Based on the powerful CITRA software (including CITRA Smallworld import/export interface) for general data exchange with versatile data modelling, CISS TDI offers further modules and solutions for data exchange with Smallworld GIS. Licensing for geodata is also available. .
DXF import with CIDRE CIDRE, the CISS DXF Reader, is an easy-to-use DXF import interface for Smallworld GIS.
DXF export: For data delivery from Smallworld GIS to DXF, CISS TDI offers a special DXF export package, which is used for DXF export from standard applications or individual data models.

CISwitch Data models in Smallworld GIS suiting individual data may be created in Smallworld using CISwitch, so that data is imported into Smallworld GIS from virtually any arbitrary source system with minimum expenditure of time and cost.
Import and export with CITRA Features of DXF import with CIDRE: - Import of DXF data without expenditure of configuration - Each DXF file as a self-contained plan in Smallworld - Adoption of all graphical features of the original data (such as colours and symbols) - Specific visibility control according to DXF features - Editing and deletion of the imported data on the basis of plan names, layer names, colours or processing status - Adoption of attributes contained in DXF blocks Features of DXF export: - True-to-style export with regard to colours, line widths, text sizes, symbol definitions etc. - Export of styles and sub-styles (also dynamic) - Complete export of dimensionings - Export according to dynamic visibilities - Selection via defined views or via object class menu (What you see is what you get) - Automated generation of the layer structure on the basis of the data model in Smallworld GIS - Export of attributes into DXF blocks Features of CITRA data distributor: - Addition to the standard export user interface to enable selection from pre-defined export variants (reproducible outputs) - Numerous options for the selection of the data to be exported, such as inside trail, reports, plot frames, current visibilities and many more - Predefined configurations for Smallworld applications like NRM into many target formats (CITRA, DXF, SHAPE, GeoMedia, MapInfo and Oracle Spatial) - Data supply for network analysis programs, network control center applications etc. - Incremental data export with CISS differential module Features of CISwitch: - Data analysis and automated generation of a Smallworld data model as a CASE archive - Automated creation of import interface configuration tables - Loading of data without expenditure of configuration Datenaustausch mit Smallworld Stand 05/2009 CISS TDI GmbH Barbarossastr. 36 53489 Sinzig Tel. 02642/9780-0 Fax 9780-10 www.ciss.de ciss@ciss.de
Data migration has the demanding task of mapping specific initial situations in old GIS on the target model in accordance with the users requirements and, in so doing, takes into account the multifaceted capabilites of the new system.
The objective in establishing an Oracle-based Geodata Warehouse is to integrate (geo) data from different sources (e.g. from Smallworld GIS) into an efficient database and to store it there in a generally accessible (i.e. open) form.
Beginning with the ALKIS era in the German cadastral systems, CISS TDI offers an interesting alternative to classic approaches by supplying an Oracle-based ALKIS solution.
CISS TDIs geodata range for Smallworld and Oracle encompasses digital street data from Tele Atlas or NAVTEQ. If required, farm roads, house coordinates from official or private sources or German postal service addresses as well as geobasis data (including ALK, ATKIS and in future ALKIS) or further official data from surveying authorities can be accomodated.
CISS TDI is a partner of GE Energy Germany GmbH

Data migration Features of data migration: - Over 20 years of project experience at CISS TDI - Short project durations, minimizes manual post-processing and facilitates fast commissioning of the new system - Analysis, configuration creation, modelling and quality checking which assures improvement of data (e.g. topology formation) - Optimum mapping (loss-free data transfer) on the designated target data model Geodata Warehouse on Oracle Features of Geodata Warehouse on Oracle in conjunction with Smallworld GIS: - Complete, low-cost integration of company-wide data (geobasis and thematic data) - Highest level of openness, facilitating maximun benefit in the entire company or at third party users - Access with any GI systems (or with SQL) - Access to Oracle with Smallworld by means of SOM technology - Arbitrarily scalable solutions ALKIS on Oracle Features of ALKIS on Oracle: - Use ALKIS-data in Smallworld GIS and also other GI- Systems (system-independent provision of geobasis data: administer and store only once use in many ways) - Comprehensible data model - Adherence to the presentation rules (according to GeoInfoDok) by generating presentation graphics such as symbols or annotations and storing them in the Oracle data base. No complex application necessary and identical appearance in all accessing systems. - Trend-setting step towards a Geodata Warehouse solution Geodata for Smallworld Features of geodata: - Provision for Smallworld or Oracle, among others - Supply of additional formats possible - Attractive preparation of the data - Specific processing of the data on demand, such as blending with other data sources or the customers own databases - Commericially attractive licensing models - Our offer: o Digital street data, plus farm roads o House coordinates, elevation data o ALK, ATKIS, shortly ALKIS o Many others Further information can be obtained online at www.ciss.de or by e-mail: ciss@ciss.de
