As the new school year gets underway, I would like to start off by introducing myself. My name is Mrs. Karaoguz and I will be your childs 6th grade Math teacher. Responsibility, time management, organizational skills, teamwork, and leadership skills are all characteristics that I am prepared to utilize in the classroom, as well as instill in my students. I feel that it is very important to create a positive and conducive learning environment. It is due at the beginning of class and late work is not accepted. If your child is absent, the student is responsible to make up any missed work. Students should refer to their class notes and math book, in case they have difficulty with an assignment. I am usually available in the morning, during nutrition, lunch, and after school until 3:00 P.M. for tutoring. Please be aware that there may be times your child will be required to attend a math tutorial due to their grades.
