Horrific. Gruesome. Inhuman. The civilized world
has condemned the beheading of American
journalist James Foley by the terrorist beasts
of ISIS.
It was followed by the public execution of
22 Palestinians, including two women, by Hamas
on charges of collaboration. Executed,
without trial, in cold blood.
These acts of barbarism are only
the latest ghastly examples of the
monstrous enemy, radical Islam,
that is threatening humanity.
In Iraq and Syria, ISIS is now
beheading and crucifying children
in its genocidal war against
Christians, Yazidis, and anyone
else in the way of their caliphate.
In Iran, the gay-hating, women-
stoning, free-speech-suppressing
mullahs continue to fund murderous
attacks against Americans and
Jews worldwide, threatening Israel
with nuclear annihilation.
And in Gaza, bloodthirsty Hamas terrorists fire
rockets at Israelis from homes, schools and
mosques. Hamas sacrifices Palestinian babies
as human shields, and uses Palestinian children
as slave labor to build terror tunnels in its
never-ending genocidal war against the Jews.
But with mass murder throughout the Islamic
world, Ban Ki-moon continues his Israel-
condemnation addiction. He castigates the
Middle Easts only democracy as it acts
in self-defense against the Hamas death cult.
His repeated statements of moral equivalency
between Hamas and Israel are despicable and
an affront to decency. A recent
bipartisan letter from U.S. Senators
to Ban Ki-moon scolded his
comparison of the deliberate
terrorist attack on civilians by
Hamas to the measured response
of a nation-state trying to defend its
citizens. Even a Palestinian Authority
official compared Hamas to ISIS.
If Ban Ki-moon wants to mobilize
United Nations resources to
investigate genocide, he should
focus on where genocide is really
taking place. Not on Israel.
And if the Secretary-General
continues to misuse the UN,
Americans who pay one-fifth
of the UN budget should ask themselves
why they fund an organization whose chief
cannot distinguish right from wrong.
