    Using XDM on Linux

    Running XDM for first time:


    1. First check Java is installed or not. Type Terminal and
    type java -vesion.
    2. If java is not installed or it's version in not 1.6 (Java 6)
    then install the latest version from "http://www.java.com/getjava" .
    3. Open Terminal and goto the directory where xdman.jar is
    placed using cd command.
    4. Type java -jar xdman.jar to run XDM for the first time.
    5. Now you can create a Shortcut on your Desktop or any other folder
    by selecting 'Create Shortcut' from XDM Menu->File.
