LILY CAI

Elegant, sensual, and
captivating, Lily Cai
Chinese Dance Company
melds ancient Chinese
traditions with modern
dance in a marriage of
styles. Dynasties and
Beyond embarks on a
dazzling journey from
ancient dynasties to
contemporary culture.
When Lily Cai came to visit, they were gracious enough to hold a master class for
students in the Technique IV Class at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln (UNL).
In the pictures above, a Lily Cai company member walks around UNL dance
students as they perform a technique just taught to them.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar and other Eric Carle Favorites
Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia puppeteers demonstrate how puppets from The
Very Hungry Caterpillar and other Eric Carle Favorites move during a puppetry
workshop at Elliott Elementary School Head Start and Family Literary Programs.

Students receive a hands-on experience with The Very Hungry Caterpillar
from a puppeteer with the Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia.




A puppeteer with the Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia demonstrates how

other Eric Carle Favorites as students eagerly await to give it a try.
