The Price to Birth a Movement,

The Lord was talking to me and HE said, "Do you understand The Price of Birthing a Movement." So just,
go with me on this journey. He gave me this account (Matthew 2:18-19; Luke 1:26-36) and here it goes.
The Birth of Jesus
Luke 1:26 Now in the sixth month [after that], the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee
named Nazareth, 27 To a girl never having been married and a virgin engaged to be married to a man
whose name was Joseph, a descendant of the house of David; and the virgins name was Mary.28 And
he came to her and said, Hail, O favored one [endued with grace]! The Lord is with you! Blessed (favored
of God) are you before all other women! 29 But when she saw him, she was greatly troubled and
disturbed and confused at what he said and kept revolving in her mind what such a greeting might
mean. 30 And the angel said to her, Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found grace (free,
spontaneous, absolute favor and loving-kindness) with God.31 And listen! You will become pregnant and
will give birth to a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus. 32 He will be great (eminent) and will be called
the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to Him the throne of His forefather David, 33 And
He will reign over the house of Jacob throughout the ages; and of His reign there will be no end. 34 And
Mary said to the angel, How can this be, since I have no [intimacy with any man as a] husband? 35 Then
the angel said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will
overshadow you [like a shining cloud]; and so the holy (pure, sinless) Thing (Offspring) which shall be
born of you will be called the Son of God.36 And listen! Your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also
conceived a son, and this is now the sixth month with her who was called barren.
Matthew 2:18-19 the birth of Jesus took place like this. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to
Joseph. Before they came to the marriage bed, Joseph discovered she was pregnant. (It was by the Holy
Spirit, but he did not know that.) Joseph chagrined but noble, determined to take care of things quietly
so Mary would not be disgraced.
20-23 While he was trying to figure a way out, he had a dream. Gods angel spoke in the dream: Joseph,
son of David, dont hesitate to get married. Marys pregnancy is Spirit-conceived. Gods Holy Spirit has
made her pregnant. She will bring a son to birth, and when she does, you, Joseph, will name him Jesus
God savesbecause he will save his people from their sins. This would bring the prophets embryonic
sermon to full term:
Watch for thisa virgin will get pregnant and bear a son; They will name him Immanuel (Hebrew for
God is with us). 24-25 Then Joseph woke up. He did exactly what Gods angel commanded in the
dream: He married Mary. But he did not consummate the marriage until she had the baby. He named
the baby Jesus.
He said to me, could imagine what Mary encountered, pregnant at the age she was. Some say she was
between 12-14 years of age, could imagine what was going through her mind, pregnant, promised: but
not married, peer pressure, stone to death, called a fornicator, prostitute, adulteress, no friends,
shunned, shamed, rejected, embarrass, and numerous other emotions going through her mind.
Jewish girls of that period usually became engaged when they were twelve or thirteen years old.
Actually, for legal purposes this engagement was regarded as the first stage of a marriage, although the
girl would normally remain with her parents for about a year before going to live with her husband and
consummating the marriage. If she became pregnant before then, she would face public disgrace, and if
the law was strictly enforced, could even be executed as an adulterous.
I cannot even imagine the pressure Mary was feeling and experiencing at that time. Here she is pregnant
by the Holy Ghost. What is she going to tell her parents, friends, her girls, the elders and Joseph? Look
yall the Holy Ghost got me pregnant. Yet right. Through it all, she was able to stand or pay The Price To
Birthing a Movement.
Joseph was like; you are what? I aint feeling that Mary. I am not marrying you girl. I am sure Joseph was
thinking about what his boys would think his sisters, his parents, and the town and let us not mention
the Jewish customs. Imagine them on Maury,
Ladies and gentlemen, here is Josephs family:
His sisters: I know that aint his baby. Who gets pregnant by a ghost? The Holy Ghost. Who does that? I
saw her creeping any way. That aint my bothers baby.
His Boys: Joe, I telling you do not do it. Do not marry her. She is not even a virgin anymore. My boy told
me she was with him last month. Joe man, the Torah said put her away, or stone her she is an
adulterous. If you marry her you know what they going call you.
His parents: We did not raise you like this. She is not clean. No, no, do not marry her.
The Town: Did yall hear about Mary? She is pregnant. She wont tell who the father is. She keeps saying
the Holy Ghost did it. Ugh!!!
Joseph had already decided I cant marry her, but he was an honorable guy. He had decided he was
going to put her away quietly (without embarrassing or shaming her). Then God sent an angel, told
Joseph to marry Mary, and that the Holy Ghost had impregnated her.
Mary being a young girl had to stand through all the adversity, humiliation, scrutiny, and judgment of
that time. No one supported her, believe her or even stood with her. The Price to Birth A Movement.
Pioneer means to act as a pioneer., to be the first to open or prepare (a way, settlement, etc.)., to take
part in the beginnings of; initiate., to lead the way for (a group); guide., one of a group of foot soldiers
detailed to make roads, dig entrenchments, etc., in advance of the main body., a person who is among
those who first enter or settle a region, thus opening it for occupation and development by others., one
who is first or among the earliest in any field of inquiry, enterprise, or progress.
Pioneers have a Price To Birth a Movement what God has called them to do. No one sees what you are
saying or doing. Remember no one would have believe Mary if she told them that the Holy Ghost got
me pregnant. When you are digging, paving, breaking open a region, territory or knowledge they wont
see you. They will think you are crazy, you are not hearing God, you a rebel, you do too much; you miss
it and so on.
You feel alone, rejected, dejected, you begin to wonder did I hear God, no support, you want to give up
and you want to tell God look this is too much. I cannot even think of what Mary was going through she
was carrying the King of Kings. It takes a lot of boldness, confidence and courage to stand and be
obedient to what the Lord has mandated you to do.
God did not tell anyone, but Mary that Im about to use you to birth a movement. Even God had to send
an angel to tell Joseph, you had better marry that girl. Lol
God selecting you to birth a movement is you fill in the blank. The angle told Mary , Hail, O favored one
[endued with grace]! The Lord is with you! Blessed (favored of God) are you before all other women
God has selected you because HE knows that you can handle it, you can stand the fire, you will not
drown, you will fight, and you will overcome. The favor of God is on you, the grace of God is on you and
the blessing of God is on you to PAY THE PRICE FOR BIRTHING A MOVEMENT.
As you know, Mary came through and had the Son of the Living God whose birth change a generation,
birth a nation/Kingdom of believers. So what they will not support you, so what they dont see, but
guess what. We are forever talking about Mary the mother of Jesus. Surely as you are obedient to what
the Lord says to you, The Price of Birthing a Movement, you will see the rewards.
So, what you don't know what to do, go do that thang. Go pay The Price to Birth A Movement. Amen.
