Hypothesis
We wanted to see if students who have been in
relationships think differently of PDA than
students who have not.

We believe, people in relationships think of PDA
more leniently than people who havent been in
relationships.

Targets
We decided to do a stratified sample.

We chose four random advisory classes at
Scappoose High School, one from each
grade.

We surveyed a total of 82 students: 35
males and 47 females.

Interesting Facts:
o Everybody who has Made Out or Kissed has been in a relationship
o 12/14 who checked Flirting also checked all others
o 20% checked four or more categories to be PDA
o 4/4 students who didnt consider anything of our list to be PDA
had done all 5 things themselves
o 4/11 who marked all categories to be PDA had done nothing
o 3/11 who marked all categories to be PDA had done everything
o 17 % havent done anything

Results
We found out that there is correlation between
your relationship and your opinion of PDA. As
relationship status becomes present, negative
view decrease.

This seems to confirm that our hypothesis was
partially correct.
Conclusion
We believe there is a correlation between relationship
status and your view of PDA because people in
relationships have more experience and think of their
own actions differently than students who are not
having those experiences. They may even decide that
PDA is less a problem as they experience the benefits
of PDA love and belonging and intimacy. Love can
truly make you blind to things that used to annoy you
(or even gross you out).
