Corrosion resistant steel as standard
The new design meets the growing demands of the
semiconductor technology, the food processing in-
dustry as well as chemical and medical applications.
Modular rack and pinion and involute toothing
This provides low friction combined with a better
overlapping of rack and pinion at the same time.
Thus high precision, good running performance and
reliability are ensured.
The ACS 2
nd
edition always covers the whole
length of the precision rail guide. Therefore the
specifed stroke needs not be specifed any more.
To comply to customer requirements the pinion will
be made of brass as a standard.
Further optimisation of the inner geometry
Omitting the groove between the running tracks
leads to a higher system stiffness.
Augmented product range
To satisfy market needs the existing product range
of the ACS has been augmented with size 2.

Maximal length
The maximal lenght is process-related.
Therefore the classic ACS, covering more
length, will furthermore be produced.
Standard without holes for end stops
The ACS 2
nd
edition has no holes for end stops as
a standard. Due to the reliable guidance of the cage
there is no necessity for end stops any more. How-
ever, if the customer needs an end piece with wiper,
the holes can be ordered using the suffx /E7.
