ENG 1DYP- Informal 3D Essay Name:

Task:
1) Use the writing process to write a 300 word informal essay on one of the
following topics:
The day I would start my life over (Reflective)
Things you should know that your parents never teach you (Expressive)
...should be changed immediately (Opinionated)
2) Take a second copy of your informal essay and make it into a symbolic 3D
interpretation.
Learning Goal: By the end of this assignment you will:
-Know 12 literary devices, and understand how to use them effectively in writing
-Understand the difference between formal and informal writing styles
-Be able to write an informal essay
-Be able to convey your essay topics and ideas in a three dimensional artistic
rendition
