Lately, increasing numbers of women have been complaining about being passed up for promotions and management positions. They feel that men receive preferential treatment, even though many women are mo re highly qualified. Your team has already conducted some research into the problem. Table 1 shows se veral key statistics about the men and women working for your company. Tables 2 & 3 show why female executives believe that women should have more opportunities in the corporate world. These data may help shed light on the possibility of se x discrimination at your company.
