SUBJECT: LEDER OF CERTIFICATION
This serves to certify that I amthe rightful Alap and owner of LOTOENWETO
where the copra warehouse is located for which I have agreed to provide for use
bythe Namdrik Atoll Local Government as storage area for all copra products
produced on Namdrik atoll for a period in perpetuity.
Furthermore, I have agreed to provide this piece of land to the Namdrik Atoll
Local Government who has been working closely with the Namdrik Copra
Cooperative (NCe) who manages the copra buying program for our copra farmers.
The Namdrik Copra Cooperative has agreed to pay $1/ copra bag stored in the
warehouse to myself as the landowner. This basic understanding between all
parties is also considered a legal arrangement that has taken place since the copra
warehouse was built in 1988.
As the landowner, I have agreed to allow all related construction activities,
including the required renovation and maintenance work needed towards the
deteriorating condition of the building, without interruption so as long as the
work will positively impact the local community on Namdrik atoll.
