Engine mixup issue in protoshop & it is difficult to identify the required engine & it takes more time for
engine searching.
Engine filling time to be reduced from 120sec to 90 sec.
No proper area available for keeping quality, engineering, rework & production engine which leads
engine mix up issue & engine searching time. For avoiding this floor marking needs to be mark with
proper identification & area specified with proper name.
While cleaning test cell heat exchanger it takes more time due to non availability of proper tool.

Apicom standerd cycle sequence to be changed (First engine filling command is appear & then bar code
scanning command)
T/B # 3 coolant pump not working, paint shop pump to be assembled.

There was no proper marking on testing crane rail. so it takes more time to allign the the crane over
the engine skid. Proper marking required on rail.
During engine rework it is very difficult to remove MB cap. puller is required for easy removal of MB
cap.
More time & more fatique is required for filling coolant in the coolant tank above the testcell. Special
arrengement is required.
More time required for engine cleaning which resulted in testing cycle time increased.
More time with 2 man power is required for transfering oil barrel from oil circulation m/c to engine
assembly line. Simple trolly needs to be made which can be handled by 1 operator.
Hand tools searching time is more in engine assembly line on all stages due to tools not available on
stages. For avoiding this searching time proper tool box with lock & key is required for storing hand
tools after use.
Assembly line conveyor stopped suddenly due to anybody crosses the bump sensor unknowingly. Safty
plates required on both side of coveyor for avoiding crossing of sensor.
In engine assembly line at stage no. 16 dowel pin is used for locating cylinder head on block this is time
consuming activity. Needs to put cylinder head bolt on cylinder head on trolly & directly head with bolt
putted on block which can reduce the line cycle time & improve the line productivity.
