How do I find links and important school information?

How do I receive instruction?
Students will attend 4 live classes daily (Math, Science, History, and
English). They will also have a live PE class either the first or second
semester of the school year.
Your schedule will on your class connects on your OLS homepage
Why dont we follow the daily plan? *Yes, ignore the daily plan!
The daily plan doesnt always coincide with the pace wed like to set the
instruction to, nor does it leave room for supplemental instruction.
We wont be able to cover all the material for the year, so students need
to follow the work schedule in class, not on their daily plan
Students will still mark lessons complete in their online school, but it might
not match the lesson on the daily plan, so please just ignore it.






How do teachers track attendance?
Attendance will be taken within the first 15 minutes of class. If you were late or think
you were marked absent for any reason, contact the attendance office through kmail.
(New Kmail>Search>Administrator>Attendance as the first name, Office as the last name).
Helpful Hint: How do I mark lessons complete in the OLS?
1. Go to courses
2. Find the subject
3. Find the unit and lesson
4. Click on the lesson, go to lesson navigator on the left side
5. And click on lesson completion

How will I receive important class information? KMAIL!
Look for important notes from teachers, updates, announcements, weekly assignment
lists, missing assignment notices, ways to get help, etc.
Reply to your teacher if needed.
Print or save any attachments your teachers have sent















When do students work in Study Island?
Students can work in Study Island DAILY for Math and ELA (English
Language Arts) pathways
How to log in
o Website: http://www.studyisland.com
o Username (StudentID@agora) & Password (agora)

Students must click on All 7
th
Grade to access their monthly pathways.
How to earn full credit? You must do 10 questions for each topic and
earn a 70% or higher to get your blue ribbon!

Pathway Schedule:
October: complete pathways for ELA and Math 7.1
November: complete pathways for ELA and Math 7.2
December/January: complete pathways for ELA and Math 7.3
February: complete pathways for ELA and Math 7.4
March: complete pathways for ELA and Math 7.5



Helpful Hint: How to search your k-mails for
important information?
Use the Find box at the top of your k-mail inbox to
search for k-mails.
Example: Search for any k-mails about attendance or
from a specific teacher.
Dont forget to search your Archive folder too.





Each set of pathways
are due at the end of
each month!
How do we log into Google Ed?
Each student has their own Agora Eagles google account!
Some teachers will have students use this account for in class
assignments; teachers will explain how to use them!
How to log in:
o Go to http://google.com and select SIGN IN
o Username: Email address-- studentidnumber@agoraeagles.org
o FIRST TIME LOGGING IN PASSWORD: agorastudentidnumber
o CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD TO: studentidnumberagora

Where are graded assignments?

They are located in SAPPHIRE! Students must have their OWN Sapphire
account
Students cannot access graded assignments or their report cards without
this account
Parents can also make their own account to monitor grades
See directions below on how to set up the account















Fill out the application and click on SAVE FORM and CONTINUE
You will receive an email within 48 if your form was approved
Keep your username, password, and pin code in a safe place!

2. Read and respond to kmail at least twice a day
3. Check Sapphire grades for assignments
4. Complete pathways in Study Island
5. Write down any homework assigned in class (not sure? Listen to the
recording OR check the teachers calendar via their website)
