2010, ranking in terms of the
international tourist arrivals as the top
destination in South America, and
second in Latin America after Mexico.

the border between Brazil and
Argentina. Most visitors reach the falls
from the Argentine side through the
city of Puerto Iguaz.
The Perito Moreno Glacier is an
enormous glacier located in the Los
Glaciares National Park. It is one of
the most important tourist attractions in
Argentina due to its size and
accessibility.
The majestic mountains tower over the

gravity and skiing is widely available
throughout many of the small rural
villages found in this region.
