Students will e thinking creatively while constructing their digital
maga!ine pages. "hey will need to create their own plan for an
informative story outline that they think is important to share with
others aout their chosen culture. #ach student will e creating a
uni$ue page on %icrosoft &ulisher to e included in the culminated
pro'ect and will e re$uired to e(press creative thinking in the
foundation of their article.
Students will e using the )esearch *rgani!er form for conducting
research to help organi!e and construct the knowledge necessary
aout a specific culture they chose. "his knowledge will e used to
develop an innovative digital product.
"his process of using the )esearch *rgani!er while e(ploring the
different sources of information, online, will introduce the research
process to students in a technological way. "his will help make an
easier creative writing process y not only following the writing
checklist ut y using the important information they have organi!ed
on the research form.

Students will use the online sources like -ational .eographic and
"ime %aga!ine to e(plore digital media in the form of facts, videos,
and photos. "he online environment of email, google docs, and Skype
will allow students to communicate and share ideas aout animals
online with other high school/aged students from across the world.
0y working with a partner, each student will e assigned a task to take
part in the individual learning process. Students will e researching
and recording key facts and details aout a particular culture y using
information provided y others. "hey will then contriute to the
learning of others worldwide y sharing an article with accurate facts
and information with students across the world to create a maga!ine
that everyone can see.

Students will e using specific programs and tools for productivity
tools and technology applications that will e helpful for them. "hese
programs include the )esearch *rgani!er form, %icrosoft &ulisher,

applications to effectively construct a digital maga!ine article and
collaorate with the other students around the world in an efficient
manner.
