ForthisprojectIwillhostaworkshopfordiversegroupofpeopleandtrytoteachthem
toappreciateworksofarttheymayinitiallydismiss.AspartoftheworkshopIwill
determinethegeneralpreferenceorbiasofthegroupbyaskingtheiropinionsof
variousartworks,andIwillteachashortlessonaboutthesignificanceofthestylesof
artthattheyappreciatetheleast(havingresearchedtheseindependently).Iwillthen
showthemhowtointerprettheworksofartwhichtheyfindhardtounderstandandI
willaskthemtorecreateaworkofartthattheyclaimtobeabletodothemselvesto

Asforthedescription,itsveryinterestingtoseethisideafortheworkshopandthebookthat
wouldcomeoutofit.Butiftheexerciseistobenefitothers,thebookshouldhaveamajor
componentthatoutlinesthestrategiesyouvedevelopedtoincreaseappreciationofartthat
manydismiss.Inotherwords,thebookshoulddocumentyourworkbutalsocreatearoad
mapforotherstofollowiftheywanttoencourageartappreciationforlessthanlovedor
lessthanunderstoodworksofart.

peoplesperceptionsandassumptionsaboutartandeducatethemaboutthehistorical
