Re: Library Media Program Evaluation Rubric 2014

On October 30, 2014, Mrs. Warren and I reviewed the current status of the Appling County
Elementary School according to the Georgia Department of Education Library Media Center
Evaluation Rubric. I have attached the rubric I utilized to complete the evaluation of the media
center. I have also summarized what she and I found during the evaluation and the action steps
for the standards that did not fall into the Exemplary category. For more explanation on each
category, please refer to the GA DOE Evaluation Rubric. In the table below, B is for Basic, P is
for Proficient, and E is for Exemplary. Also, MS will stand for Media Specialist.
