Subversion- an attempt to transform the established social order and its structures of power, authority,
and hierarchy

Dialectic-two forces, the thesis and antithesis, clash and eventually produce a synthesis
Bourgeoisie- Capitalists
Proletariat- the working class
1.) The force that drives history according to Marx is class struggle
2.) The Proletariat was the exploited group because the bourgeoisie gained profit from the
labor of the workers
3.) Marx Believed that the struggle would eventually be resolved when the proletariat rose
up in revolution and destroyed the basis of their exploitationprivate property. Once
everyone owned all things in common, class distinctions would be erased, and the class
struggle that had marked human history since its beginnings would come to an end.
4.) No Marx would not have believed that the Bolshevik revolution was proof of his belief.
The people united however it did not end with the end of classes exploiting one another
all that changed was who was exploiting the peasants of Russia. The Czar and boyars
were replaced by the Communist party because Russia became a one party totalitarian
state.
