AVOIDING COMMON MISTAKES

DO NOT MAKE
YOUR POSTER
TOO LONG

AVOIDING COMMON MISTAKES

Format the title in sentence case
e.g.,A new therapy for diabetic treatment.
Do not use title case
e.g.,A New Therapy for Diabetic Treatment
Or All caps
e.g., A NEW THERAPY FOR DIABETIC
TREATMENT

Avoid using dark background

Opt for light backgrounds (left) so that

you don't need to house them in boxes (right).

Graph titles are not appropriate for laboratory

write-ups and manuscripts, but they are great for
poster
