NARRATIVE REPORT ON WORLD THINKING DAY CELEBRATION

Bukal Elementary School Girl Scouts celebrated World Thinking Day at the school
campus on February 22, 2012. Different activities and ceremonies were done on this special day
for the girls through their respective troop leaders. The celebration focused on the theme We
can Save the Planet Earth. This was based on the Millennium Development Goal #47 ensuring
environmental sustainability.
Girl Scouts and adult leaders participated actively in celebrating the said event.

Girl scouts gathered bottles and newspapers as part of their community service project.

Girl scouts helped in protecting the natural resources through tree planting projects.

Girl scouts designed and made Thinking Day Cards and gave them to other girl scouts
and troop leaders.

At the end of the day, each girl scout conveyed Happy Thinking Day to her fellow and
sister girl scouts.
