To Whom it May Concern,
Lauren Cribbs was a student teacher in my classroom from August 25 through October 10, 2014. Ms.
Cribbs was very confident and poised as she taught my third grade class. She held a professional repoire
with all administration, staff, parents, and students, Attending several staff, grade level seminar
meetings, and Open House gave Lauren experience in communicating with administration, parents, and
other teachers. Ms. Cribbs was very organized with all her duties as a classroom teacher. Materials were
ready, lesson plans were detailed, and all paperwork was completed ahead of time
Lauren’s enthusiasm was seen throughout her lesson delivery. Not only were her lessons based on the
state standards, but she used various types of technology in her lessons as well. Her students wanted to
participate in various activities because Ms. Cribbs made each child feel comfortable and excited about
the lesson. Using differentiated instruction, she met each student’s needs. Lauren encouraged them
while guiding them to stay on task. Group activities were also provided so that the class had the
opportunity to work together. When asked to take on the leadership role in these groups or work
stations, the students were anxious to volunteer. Responsibility and self confidence were then learned
by the students and put into practice. Ms. Cribbs took the time to make each child feel special.
| would highly recommend Lauren Cribbs for a teaching position in your district. She has proven herself
to be an excellent teacher. if you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Debra Dunn
