(With the safety/selector lever set at the white box with a white bullet symbol inside or at the white "S", see illustrations on pages 16 ~ 18.) REMOVE MAGAZINE - Depress the magazine release lever or button and remove the magazine from the magazine well. COCKING HAMDIZ - Rotate the ejection port towards the ground and pull the cocking handle rearward one or nore tines to insure the chamber is empty. Watch for a live Found or empty case to be ejected. Rotate the cocking handle upward slightly and lock it into the indent in the cocking lever housing to lock the bolt open. 1
