I am from Lumbayanague, Lanao del Sur. It is a fourth class municipality here in Lanao del Sur. It is composed of 22 barangays.

It belongs to the second district

of Lanao del Sur. It can be reached by land or by water thru our Lake Lanao. The major source of livelihood in this province is fishing and farming. It is not the
typical province we often see or go into. As being near from our lake, visiting my province will let you really appreciate the other side of our Lake. We often
see some side of the Lake full of garbages which makes some people really do not appreciate the beauty of what has been blessed to us. However, my
province is an exception to this scenario. As you can see in the pictures, you can really see the Lake very clean with the mountains very green. A nature lover
will really consider it as paradise. We consider our mountains as untounched. Our people can be seen as to be observing Maranao traditions such as what we
call kandatu and kambae where a feast is held. Although it is considered as far from the city, the youth of Lumbayanague were not deprived of education as
many schools are long established in this municipality. Until now the province is being developed to show that the province can be a good tourist destination
in our place. So before one travels to Luzon or Visayas for a trip to some beautiful places in the country, he must first visit some beautiful places here in
Lanao and one of those is my province.
