Day 2
1. Introduction/Motivation:
Introduce the software that will be used for this activity.

Take photographs of each individual student.
3. Independent Practice
Let the students transform their photographs into the style of Pop Art.
4. Closure
Inform students of the activities for next class and remind them to bring any extra supplies.
5. Formative Evaluation
Have students email their transformed photograph.

Make sure students stay on task and answer any questions.
Day 3
1. Introduction/Motivation:
Discuss various techniques of art making through different mediums.
2. Guided Practice
Have students practice the different techniques in sketchbook.
3. Independent Practice
Students will begin their 9x12 two-dimensional pieces.
4. Closure
Inform students of the activities for next class.
5. Formative Evaluation
Discuss individually with students about their progress.
6. Classroom Management Procedures
Make sure students stay on task and answer any questions.
Day 4
1. Introduction/Motivation:
Have 5-minute art walk at beginning of class.
2. Guided Practice
Check in with students individually to discuss progress.
3. Independent Practice
Students continue to work on piece. Students will upload image of their finished piece to class
website.
4. Closure
Discuss the likes and dislikes of the project with the class and have a class critique.
5. Formative Evaluation
Take up sketchbooks and students artwork.
6. Classroom Management Procedures
Make sure students stay on task and answer any questions.
X. Summative Assessment and Evaluation:
Students will complete sketchbook activities during this lesson and turn in a final piece.
