I know that people form relationships in their daily lives. Some
are intentional and others are unintentional. I chose this subject because it relates to the book very well. Alex has relationships, starts relationships, and runs from relationships throughout the whole book. This subject interests me because I have a number of relationships and I do not think I know much about them. Researching might allow me to learn more about them and ultimately form better relationships in the future. 1. Why do people form relationships? 2. Why do we sometime push them away? 3. How many do we form in a lifetime? 4. How many GOOD relationships can we hold at one time? 5. Do we need relationships to function? 6. What happens if we dont have them? 7. What do relationships have to do with happiness? 8. How is technology affecting relationships? 9. When do we form the most relationships? 10. How do relationships affect us? Why do people form relationships? What do relationships have to do with happiness? I will find most of these answers on the Internet and from scholarly articles and research. Some of the substantive questions will be difficult to find answers for because there is no definite answer for them. If my initial research is too broad I will narrow it to finding out if relationships correlate with happiness. If my research topic is too narrow I will find out how different cultures form relationships in different ways.
