Assessment.

For teachers the use of assessments is very important, in order to document if

students are learning or not. Moreover, for us as pre- service teachers,
assessments are a helpful tool to check if our teaching strategies are working.

Michael and I assessed our students in three different ways:

Monitoring: Every time we gave an activity to our students we checked

if they were doing it properly or if they had some difficulties through the
use of this way of assessment.

ICQS & CCQs: We used Comprehension checking questions in order

to check our students understanding of instructions and content.

Alternative assessments, such as listening activities, dialogues and

worksheets. Through these different types of assessments we checked if
the students had understood the different contents of the lessons.
