The data collected from this evaluation shows that most of the teachers came to the workshop with very little prior
knowledge of the subject. The data collected also shows positive growth in all aspects. The teachers expressed their
desire to incorporate more technology into their lessons and teaching methods, but were unsure where to begin. They
also expressed their concern on how to use technology to motivate their students to become more involved in the lessons
being taught. While most teachers has little prior knowledge, the results show that the majority left with much more
familiarity and exposure to Kahoot. There were several teachers who expressed needing more help. Support will be
provided through-out the year with more guidance, coaching, and modeling of Kahoot. Tips and tutorials will be shared
with teachers in hopes that more teachers will begin using Kahoot as a fun-interactive way to involve students.
Overall, I feel that the workshop went very well. The teachers all left excited and encouraged to try something "new"
with their students. They all expressed how much Kahoot will help in collecting data and using Kahoot as a formative
assessment. They also expressed how Kahoot will help them get their students involved in the learning process through a
medium that most students are already comfortable with, as most teachers use some sort of response system in their
classroom already. I look forward to hearing more from these teachers after they have had the opportunity to try Kahoot
with their students.
