Teachers Answers.

1. I think that course books are more practical and useful, than important. They help
a lot in terms of grammar tips and activities. However, they are not the only
instrument
teachers
must
consider.
2. I dont use course books, if i had to choose one, it would have to be motivating
and engaging for the students, with lots of grammar points so they can look at
after
class.
3. I frequently use the grammar points that these books bring, because I teach the
structure of the language exponent in the class, but I think it is really useful to
check those grammar points and make the students aware of that precious tool
they have at hand. In addition, I always use the listening activities of the course

books, they are very helpful. However, there are some parts that I rarely use,
such as the reading activities.
4. That depends on if I have the paper version or if it is online. For example, if there
is a paper version on the school or Universitys library I would like to ask my
students to borrow the book from the library so they can keep it for all the
semester. If the book is online, I would upload it to Ev@, for instance so
everybody is going to have a copy. I would try a lot of ways for my students to
have a copy
5. Most of course books have a lot of grammar support, also called grammar focus.
And I find them really useful for the students, because in class I teach the
structure, but I found really helpful for the students to take a look at the book after
the lesson is over, because not all the students take notes and not all pay
attention to what I am writing or saying. So, this course books are useful for the
students to check again structure and vocabulary. At least that is the help I hope.

Learners Answers.
1. We dont use course books. But if I had to use one I would use it all the time to
check the contents that the teacher has been teaching in the lessons.
2. The part I think that I would use the most would be grammar points and
vocabulary point and the parts that I would seldom use would be the listening
activities.
3. What I like the best is the grammar and vocabulary points even though they are
confusing sometimes, but they help me a lot for learning. What I dont like is that
some
of
the
content
is
boring.
4. I think the contents that the teacher teaches are more important than the ones of
the
course
books.
5. I would like to have a course book with a more fun activities and games
6. I dont have a course book now.
