Im able to inform the parent with community events and resources available to the child and
family members.
Im able to provide parent documentation such as the DRDP to provide them with the child
growth in all their domains with work samples, pictures, and anecdotal of the children for proof of
the childs growth and levels there in developmental wise.
Im able to write a letter in English and Spanish to inform the parent s of what I have planned for
the children in my curriculum for the classroom for the week.

**Growth: Please list how your knowledge and skills listed above, have grown as a result of your student
teaching experiences.
The growth that I experienced during my teaching experience is to provide family with community resources
that are available to help the family with a situation or to tell the parent that certain community events are
happening in the community such as the library providing children with free back packs with school supplies or
free health clinics. Im also able to write a parents letter providing information about monthly curriculums in
my classroom or other issues that pertain to the class room such as donation, school day closure in English and
Spanish.

**Beliefs: How has completing the above assignments and your student teaching influenced your beliefs about
promoting partnerships between programs, teachers, families, and their communities?
I strongly believe that in being informed with resources that can help the family and child are important when
working with children because in providing resources such as for a child who has speech delays your are
helping that child receive the necessary speech therapy so the child developmental needs are meet and also your
helping the parents when they are not aware of what are they supposed to do or what resources are available to
the child and family.
**Future Growth & Next Steps: Think about your future teaching, list three goals to help you improve
upon your existing knowledge and skills and your teaching.
I would like to be inform of different resources available to the community.
I would like to meet and attend the available resources that are able so I can gain more knowledge of
what is available.
I would also like learn another language, so Im able to communicate with parents besides English and
Spanish. I would like to learn Arminian.
Identify how you will achieve each of these three goals. Be specific. For instance, will you enroll in a
course? If so, what course? Will you read a book? What book?

I will achieve this goals by attending community events and also looking to see what is available in the
High Desert for resources for the children and their families. I will be researching and attending events
that provide resources, so Im able to know the knowledge to help better serve the children and families
that are in my classroom. An example is I attended a community hearing of Hesperia on Nov 18, 2014 in
which I learned that a tree ceremony lighting is going to happen on December 4, 2014 which Santa
clause will be arriving in a fire truck and the children are able to take free pictures and also they will be
giving free flu shots in the Hesperia Library.

**These sections should be based upon your reflections of your student teaching experiences.
