A full time Research Assistant is required for an ICSSR funded research project entitled State
Open Universities (SOUs) in India: An Evaluation. The candidate may apply with a Bio-data

Project: State Open Universities (SOUs) in India: An Evaluation
Project Director: Dr. Niradhar Dey, SOE, IGNOU, New Delhi
Eligibility: (i) MA Distance Education/MA Education/M.Ed./MA in any Social Science
Discipline with 55% marks in aggregate. (ii) Working computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Power
Point, Quantitative and Qualitative data organization and analysis skills). (iii) Any Certificate or
Diploma in Computer Application.
Desirable: Obtained a Degree/Diploma/Certificate from any of the Open Universities in India.
Work Description: The Research Assistant would be supposed to:
visit the field (out of Delhi) for data collection;
preparation of tools for data collection;
data organization and analysis;
reviewing, preparing report;
drafting, communication; and
record keeping, filing, and other related work in the project.
Payment: Rs. 13,000/- Per Month (Fixed), No other allowances.
Maximum period of appointment: 15 Months
