Wisconsin Early Learning Standards-Scavenger Hunt

1. Find The Guiding Principles of Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards. Select two to
discuss in our Tuesday night class.
1. All Children are capable and competent

Recognizes single sounds and combinations of sounds. Child changes initial consonant in
rhyming words, the child can also recognize sounds

The child comes to know different types of writing with different purposes. The child will pretend a
pretend object is real and will make it come alive while playing. Children will make signs and labels for
their houses or stores that they are playing with.
