Responsible for all paging and network operations in the Midwest. Completely designed the installation, growth and
expansion of the overall network for 9 remote locations including LAN & WAN applications using Micom stat muxes,
routers, remote terminal servers and Cisco routers. Utilizing a combination of 56K, 64K, ISDN, Frame Relay, and
fractional T-1 DDS Circuits combined at the LEC then de-muxed through Tellabs DCCS and Channel banks through OCUDPs and into DSU / CSUs to maximize cost savings. Negotiated all LEC contracts for both intra-state and inter-state
traffic. Planned and implemented a company wide conversion from Novell 4.01 servers to Windows NT Servers. Installed

infrastructure including 130 remote Glenarye T-8500 / 8600 RF 900 MHz transmitters and Satellite downlink equipment;

downtime. Increasing system capacity from 120,000 to over 750,000 subscribers. Split the entire switching system into 2
systems in order to increase terminal capacity, allowing the switching system to grow from a 15 DS1 system into 70 DS1
system using 2 DS3s. Responsible for developing and maintaining a $25 Million capital and operations budget for the
Systems Department. Assigned to evaluate and plan implementation of new technology for the Central Region.
Conversion and turn up new WAN / LAN technologies to minimize cost and improve productivity. Technical sales support,
creating innovative solutions for major accounts to meet their special needs by interfacing their applications and network
systems to PageNets network.
