According to the rate ratio there are ~6 times more particles after the proton bunch crosses the
separator. Also there is a factor of ~20 in the rate at the outside of the same separator for the
antiproton bunch.
These numbers indicate that particles are being created in the separator; these problems may
be due to beam-gas scattering or to misalignment of the separator with respect to the beam.
Need to make some tests like turn on the vacuum pump of the separator more often, turn on/off
the HV of the separator to see if some change is made.
Other tests could be to measure the halo rates with other pots at the same stations in order to
check if the rates are the same at the four positions within the same castle.
