ABSTRAK

PT. Pertamina Geothermal Energy merupakan unit bisnis Pertamina

Direktorat Hulu, menjalankan usaha untuk mengembangkan dan memproduksi
energi geothermal berupa uap dan energi listrik yang ada di daerah Kamojang.
Dalam PLTP selain sistem pembangkit, ada juga sistem pendukung sehingga
pembangkit listrik berjalan lancar. Salah satu komponen dalam sistem pendukung,
yakni kompresor resiprokal, yang bertugas menyuplai udara keseluruh sistem
pembangkit listrik. Sehingga bila terjadi kerusakan pada Kompresor, membuat
seluruh sistem pembangkit berhenti (Breaking Down).
Pada Laporan Kerja Praktek ini, melakukan analisa dan mendeteksi
segala permasalahan yang mungkin terjadi pada kompresor. Analisa berdasarkan
data hasil pengecekkan yang rutin dilakukan.Pengecekkan tersebut
mencamtumkan hasil pengukuran suhu, dan getaran yang dihasilkan pada bagian
tertentu pada kompresor, ditambah dengan menganalisa gelombang Ultrasonic
yang dihasilkan pada bagian bagian tertentu kompresor juga. Sehingga mampu
melakukan pencegahan sedini mungkin kerusakan yang dialami kompresor.
Kata Kunci : Kompresor Resiprokal, Temperatur, Vibrasi, Gelombang Ultrasonic,
dan Assessment Kompresor Resiprokal.

ABSTRACT

PT. Pertamina Geothermal Energy is a business unit of Pertamina

Directorate, which focus on a business to develop and supply electricity energy
by using steam in the area Kamojang. In addition, there is also a support system
which make the power plant can run smoothly. One component of the support
system is reciprocal compressor, which has a job to supply air throughout to all
power generation system. So if there is damage to the compressor, it will make
system stops to generate (Breaking Down).
On the Job Training Report, we analyze and detect any problems that may
occur in the compressor. The analysis is based on data from a routine checking,

such as checking the temperature measurement results, and the vibration

generated in certain parts of the compressor, and we analyzes Ultrasonic waves
which generated in certain parts of the compressor by using Ultraprobe 10,000
tool. So we can make prevention as early as possible the damage caused to the
compressor.
