stimulate glycogen breakdown and gluconeogenesis

Norepinephrine:

has general vasoconstrictive effects through alpha-1 receptors

Epinephrine:

is more selective
vasoconstrictor at alpha-1 receptors
but vasodilator at alpha-2 receptors (skeletal muscles, heart)

Hypersecretion:
Pheochromocytoma: chromaffin cell tumor
