Health Topic Expository Writing Guidelines: 3rd Quarter

This semester in Health you will be completing an expository writing piece each 9 weeks. You will have a list of topics to
choose from. There will be time allotted in class to write; however, a majority of your research will need to be completed
outside of the classroom.
This assignment will be worth 100 points.
Please use the rubric attached as a resource as well as the following guidelines:

Assignment must be typed, double spaced, 12 point font, Times New Roman
At least 4 pages
At least 3 works cited throughout the text (your textbook may be used as one of the resources)
Bibliography of resources used attached
Use of academic vocabulary is not only encouraged but will be graded within the rubric
This is not an opinion piece, it is expository therefore must be factual with little to no personal opinions
