Dear all Parents / Guardians of CHS,

As our world becomes increasingly interconnected, it is critical for our students to become more
culturally aware and globally-minded. To be able to experience the global classroom first-hand
and see what they have been studying in their classes come to life is life-changing and gives them
new perspectives not only of themselves, but also the world around them.
Im pleased to announce that we are planning to take students and parents on an educational tour
to Europe during the Summer of 2016 visiting the countries of England, France & Spain.
Were going to experience such amazing places as the city of London, Paris and the palace of
Versailles, the countryside of France including the Loire Chateau Valley, the northern coast of
Spain, the art and architecture of Barcelona and the excitement of Madrid.
This amazing opportunity is not only open to ALL of the students of Chardon High School but is
also extended to you as parents. I do hope you and your child will be able to join us at the
upcoming meeting to learn more about this opportunity on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2014 at
7:00pm in CHS Room 206!
