Jan 8, 2013 11:17 AM

Good teacher

Jan 8, 2013 11:15 AM

Mr. Erlandson is very organized and always puts notes online.

Jan 8, 2013 11:14 AM

He never brings back labs fast

Jan 8, 2013 11:13 AM

Sometimes Mr. Erlandson seems disorganized for class

Jan 8, 2013 11:13 AM

I believe that he is very organized and ready for class most of the time

Mr. Erlandson is quite organized and the course is managed very effectively.

Jan 8, 2013 11:10 AM

10

always does a great job, and well-prepared for class.

Jan 8, 2013 11:09 AM

11

He can sometimes gets confused on what he has taught our class vs. the other enviro slots. He then can get defensive
when we tell him that he hasn't taught it to us yet.

Jan 8, 2013 11:09 AM

12

He is generally organized. He just takes a long time to return tests and labs.

Jan 8, 2013 11:09 AM

13

The teacher is organized and uses class time effectively.

Jan 8, 2013 11:09 AM

14

he comes to class prepared but does not hold good review for tests

Jan 8, 2013 11:09 AM

15

I wish we got our labs and tests back more timely.

Jan 8, 2013 11:08 AM

Jan 8, 2013 11:16 AM

Mr. Erlandson is very friendly and makes class time go by very quickly.

Jan 8, 2013 11:15 AM

In general, Mr. Erlandson is a good teacher

Jan 8, 2013 11:15 AM

Really fun class, but extremely informational as well. Good balance.

Jan 8, 2013 11:14 AM

We be tight :)

Jan 8, 2013 11:13 AM

I believe that he has favorites

Jan 8, 2013 11:12 AM

Mr. Erlandson does a good job in regards to the attitude and personality of his students.

Jan 8, 2013 11:12 AM

10

He can be funny and playful with the students at times however there are other days when he can be very abrasive
towards students.

Jan 8, 2013 11:12 AM

11

sometimes when someone asks a question that he thinks is kind of a stupid question he subconsciously makes a fool out
of them without doing it on purpose

Jan 8, 2013 11:11 AM

12

I think he clearly has favorites and he has difficulty remaining unbiased in class

Jan 8, 2013 11:10 AM

13

The teacher is always helpful.

Jan 8, 2013 11:10 AM

14

He's very knowledgeable

Jan 8, 2013 11:19 AM

knows what hes talking about

Jan 8, 2013 11:18 AM

He is an effective teacher

Jan 8, 2013 11:17 AM

very interesting personal experiances

Jan 8, 2013 11:16 AM

The tests are sometimes too focused on small details in chapters that are not covered in class very heavily.

Jan 8, 2013 11:15 AM

Sometimes his test questions are very unfair and extremely specific on multiple choice.

Jan 8, 2013 11:15 AM

It is clear that Mr. Erlandson is extremely knowledgeable on what he is teaching. He has 1st hand experience doing
things that relate to the course (his time in Botswana) which make learning these things even more interesting for the
students. He also is really passionate about what he teaches without injecting too much of his own political beliefs.

Jan 8, 2013 11:15 AM

He be smart :)

Jan 8, 2013 11:14 AM

Mr. Erlandson knows his stuff and he shares with us a large amount of information that makes the class helpful.

Jan 8, 2013 11:14 AM

10

he knows everything about this subject

Jan 8, 2013 11:14 AM

11

I believe that the tests are way too difficult and often do not reflect the material that is covered in class (both from
readings and lessons)

Jan 8, 2013 11:13 AM

12

The tests tend to be heavy in material and he puts an unrealistic amount of material on each test. He is also unclear on
what he will focus on on each test and often tests on topics that I feel we haven't covered in class.

Jan 8, 2013 11:13 AM

13

hecka smart.

Jan 8, 2013 11:12 AM

14

The teacher is very knowledgable on the subject but tests could be more straightforward and relevant to what we learned.

Jan 8, 2013 11:12 AM

15

He is really knowledgable.

Jan 8, 2013 11:12 AM

16

Tests are too heavy on material. We are told we will be tested on material from three chapters and sometimes all of the
material isn't even on the test.

FAVORITE CLASS

Jan 8, 2013 11:18 AM

I am really enjoying environmental science this year. It is one of my favorite classes.

Jan 8, 2013 11:16 AM

The only major downside to this class is the size. I think that it should be for seniors only or should have a smaller class
limit. There isn't enough space to sit and do labs when everyone is in class... I find that totally unacceptable.

Jan 8, 2013 11:16 AM

This be fun :)

Jan 8, 2013 11:15 AM

More specific criteria for lab grading would be helpful.

Jan 8, 2013 11:15 AM

his tests are really hard, i feel i know the material well but when i take his tests i am lost and do not do as well as i
deserve regarding how long i study
