Special Rules
Control
In order for a player to control a marker or terrain feature, they must have a unit within 3 inches of that
marker or terrain feature. If your opponent also has a unit within 3 inches of the same marker or terrain
feature, well call it contested, and neither player may control it.
If one unit carries a standard, it may control markers and terrain features even if an enemy unit is within
3 inches of that marker or terrain feature. If your opponent also has a unit with a standard within 3 inches
of the same marker or terrain feature it is likewise contested and neither player may control it.
For any unit to control a zone, a majority of its models must lie within the zone. The above conventions
for contesting and control are otherwise the same for zones.
A unit may never control more than one marker, terrain feature, zone, or building.
A battle standard bearer may count as a standard in a unit which otherwise does not have a standard.
Buildings are only controlled by the unit garrisoned inside, regardless of distance or banners.
Units which cost 100 points or less cannot control markers, terrain features, zones, or buildings.
Characters cannot control markers, terrain features, zones, or buildings.
Markers are treated as open ground.

Battle Scoring (for reference)

This information is also found in the General Rules Packet but shown here for quick reference.

player who earned more victory points is Victorious; the other is Defeated. Take the difference of each

CAR (8/13)

Game 1 Scenario
Rescue the Princess
Help me, Obi Wan Kanobi. You're my only hope.
Deployment:
Battleline
BEFORE YOU START
Make sure an extra building was placed on your table.
Make sure a 20mm based marker is placed in the middle of the table (below).
Nominate a single character in your army for the second objective (below).
Special Rules:
Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good [crossbow] at your side, kid.
After casting a spell, the caster must pass a leadership check if any double 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 were
rolled on the attempt. If the leadership is failed, the wizard must roll on the miscast table but may
alter the result up or down by 1 (to a min of 2 and max of 12). This special rule applies to spells
cast from items and other unconventional means.
Mos Eisley spaceport: You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.
An extra building, Chalmuns Cantina, will be placed on each table by a tournament official. Treat
this as a 2 story building. A garrisoned unit gains the Immune to Psychology special rule from
Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes who play inside. For each turn a player controls the Cantina,
they score 100 victory points, up to a maximum of 300 points.
Objectives:
No reward is worth this.
Before deployment, place a 20mm based marker in the middle of the table (the Princess). If, during
a players turn, they control the marker, it may move up to 8 inches in any direction they chose
just as a normal model would during the remaining moves phase. Any unit of the controlling
player within 3 inches of the marker gains the Stupidity special rule from her constant criticism of
their plan.
Players score 3 objective points if they control the marker at the end of the game.
If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.
Each player nominates a single non-general character in their army. You may nominate the
General if that is your only character. Roll off for order.
The following objectives are cumulative:
Players score 1 objective point for each enemy character they slay in close combat.
Players score 1 objective point if the enemy general is slain in a challenge.
Players score 1 objective point if their general slays the enemy general in a challenge.
Players score 1 objective point if their nominated character is slain
No more than 3 points may be scored from this objective.

Game 2 Scenario
The Battle of Yavin IV
This will be a day long remembered.
Deployment:
Blood and Glory
BEFORE YOU START
Remove terrain as per Warhammer IN SPAAAAACE!!
Before deployment, nominate a unit for The Force is strong with this one.
Special Rules:
Warhammer IN SPAAAAACE!!
Being space, there isnt very much terrain around. Before table halves are chosen, each player
may select a piece of terrain on their table and remove it from play. Roll off to see who chooses
first, then roll off again to pick your side. All forests and rivers are considered Ordinary.
Each terrain feature controlled at the end of the game awards that player with 100 victory points
to a maximum of 300 points.
The Force is strong with this one.
Before deployment, starting with the player who chose the table half, players nominate a single
non-character unit to be under the guidance of Obi Wan Kanobi. Players cannot nominate their
Death Star. This unit gains Hatred (Death Star), may reroll charge distances if the target is the
Death Star, and gains Killing Blow against the Death Star (and any characters joined thereto).
Objectives:
Thats no moon
Destroy the Death Star!
The Death Star is the highest cost, non-character unit in each players army.
Players score 2 points if they destroy their opponents Death Star.
Players score 1 point if their own Death Star is not destroyed.
Well have to destroy them ship by ship.
Players score 2 points if they break their opponent per the Blood and Glory scenario.
Players score 1 point if their army is not broken per the Blood and Glory scenario.
Breaking an opponent does not end the game: keep playing!

CAR (8/13)

Game 3 Scenario
The Battle of Hoth
Set your course for the Hoth system. General prepare your men.
Deployment:
Watchtower
BEFORE YOU START
Make sure a watchtower is placed in the center of your table.
Special Rules:
Your Tauntaun will freeze before you reach the first marker!
The snowy conditions make maneuvering difficult and reduces visibility. All charge, flee, and
pursuit distances are reduced by 1 inch. All leadership tests to march or make swift reforms are
done so with a -1 penalty.
On each players first turn, the following conditions apply: All units are considered to be in soft
cover; shooting attacks which do not roll to hit must roll a d6 and if a 1 is rolled the mechanism is
frozen and the weapon may not shoot this turn.
Wampa Ice Creatures!
They come out of nowhere! At the beginning of each players movement phase, roll a d6 for each
unit they control with 10 or fewer models that is not engaged in combat. On the result of a 1, a
Wampa Ice Creature attacks the unit! The unit immediate suffers 1 wound with no armor saves
allowed.
A model attacked by the Wampa may attempt to slay the creature before being wounded. The
model must make a single attack against the WS3, I3, T5 Wampa. The Wampa has a 5+ scaly
skin. A single unsaved wound will slay the beast. A player scores 50 victory points for each
Wampa theyve slain, up to a maximum of 300 points. The model still suffers a wound with no
armor saves whether or not the Wampa is slain.
Objectives:
You have failed me for the last time, Admiral.
A player scores 3 points if they control the Watchtower (Echo Base) at the end of the game.

Thrower. Models hit by the template (Sarlacc) must pass an initiative test or suffer a Strength 7
hit with Multiple Wounds (d3). Models which pass the initiative test suffer a Strength 3 hit. The
Sarlacc does nothing if a misfire is rolled except lay in wait for his next opportunity.

Game 5 Scenario

The Emperor has made a critical error and the time for our attack has come.
Deployment:
Dawn Attack
BEFORE YOU START
Make sure an additional forest was placed on your table.
Place a marker in your opponents deployment zone to be the Ward Save Generator (below).
Special Rules:
Its a trap!
After deployment but before Vanguard moves are made, each player nominates a single CORE
unit in their army. That unit gains the Vanguard special rule. Roll off to see who chooses first.
Players earn an additional 150 victory points their opponents chosen unit is dead or fled by the
end of the game. Players also earn an additional 150 victory points if their chosen unit destroys
an enemy unit (by any means) with an equal to or higher cost than the chosen unit.
The Forest Moon
All Forests are considered Venom Thickets (because of Ewoks). An additional forest will be
placed on each table before the start of battle.
Objectives:

After table halves are chosen, each player must place a marker on the table anywhere within their
opponents deployment zone starting with the player who chose the table half. The markers cannot
