Micro Fiction, which is a popular style of fiction, is a story which contains 100
words or less. The story often leaves its reader in suspense/wondering what is
going to happen next OR evokes some sort of sentimental response from the
reader.

The following are three examples of Micro-Fiction:

chair at the lawyers office.
She left you this, handing me an envelope.
Inside: a wrinkled dollar bill. I was 6 when I gave it to her. It was the only money I
had, and special because I had earned it. I gave it to her one night after seeing
her cry over the bills. On the back of the dollar was a message in her
handwriting.
I love you, Rosie. I left smiling. I was the richest woman in the world. (100
words)
