Lives Transformed in 2014:

Danae once identified herself as a womens lib, anti-church Christian. She

had belief in God but no interest in being part of a group of rigid and hypocritical religious people and thought theyd never approve of her lifestyle. She first
came to XA when her friend from class invited her to hear about the topic of
the night, which was women in ministry. As time went on, Danae was captivated by the presence of God and the love of God she experienced through XA
students who didnt give up on sharing the gospel with her! She is growing and
maturing as a Christ follower and leading others to follow Him in every area of
life! In the picture to the left, shes helping to baptize one of the students shes
investing in!

Hannah is a grad student who was welcomed into one of our missional communities last semester by a classmate in the business school. Like Danae, she
was reluctant to be part of a church setting and feared being judged, but her
classmate and his missional community continued to intentionally welcome
Hannah into their everyday lives. Time together brought opportunities for Hannah to experience truth, and this semester shes excited to share that shes
come back to faith after a long time! She was baptized in the Holy Spirit at our
annual winter SALT conference, along with many others. Its really neat to see
how shes hearing Gods voice and learning to yield to Him as she shares what
God is doing in her life with friends and family! Heres Hannah at SALT taking a

Other points of praise from Fall 2014:

XA Kids Club started for children of non-traditional students in our ministry

God provided a solid class of freshmen for sophomores to disciple

25 students baptized in the Holy Spirit

Students regularly stepping out to pray for people on campus

9 students water baptized

^ those 9 students boldly declaring the gospel for unbelievers

A growing love across our family for international students

13 student leaders at our winter retreat (picture on right) getting hungry for God to move this semester

and being silly :)

Theres been so much happening that I wish I could share it all! As always, thank you for keeping me in your prayers. You can especially pray for deeper intimacy with Jesus and greater wisdom to manage time now that Im planning for a wedding and preparing
for marriage. Im incredible thankful for all that God is doing and how you are a part of it!
