Hick Review

Hick is an intertwining story of three lives that come together through the
eyes of 12 year girl running from her troubled home with a loaded gunbefore climbing into the car of a woman named Glenda after her fight with
a man named Eddie. This film truly captures the growing power of two
females lives, both from troubled backgrounds and still suffering but are
strong witted in their ways that they can move the audience seamlessly
through this dramatic comical tale. The film has a certain admiration to
keep their audience on the edge of their seats as the storyline gets deeper
into the involvement of a man that tries to take the power from under the
feet of these two strong willed women. This is a film for me that has gone
on to inspire women to move away from their captors and take their life
into their own hands-it may be difficult, but we as woman have power of
our own bodies.
