Alexander Hamilton
I chose Alexander Hamilton because he appealed to me as someone who didnt
come from greatness and was severely underestimated. Despite this, he was able to
become one of the most prominent leaders of America. He is noted for aiding George
Washington, becoming Secretary of Treasury, creating the first national bank and a major
contributor to the Federalist Papers.
I conducted research by first finding how people perceived his role in
comparisons to other great leaders like George Washington and Theodore Roosevelt to
understand from which point I would have to focus on. It was then that I decided to
revolve my research around not his political role but what he left behind. I did extensive
searching on information about the Federalist Papers and the Bank of the United States.
The importance of both soon became clear when I realized the influence it had in society.
Had the Federalist Papers not been created, there is no guarantee that we would have the
Constitution, which protects citizen rights today. It may have been overturned and
colonial leaders would have struggled to find an alternative that would provide the same
governmental advancements. Had the Bank of United States not been created, the hassle
of money handling and taxation would be a great deal harder.
In order to present this information effectively, I wanted a navigable display that
would include the pictures and amount of text needed. After some consideration I chose
to create a website. I used a Weebly domain to make this website possible.
Alexander Hamiltons legacy is his innovative problem solving to the United
States debt and rejection of crucial basic laws.

The collections of documents were pieced together after being gathered from various old
newsprints that were actually published in Alexander Hamiltons time. They helped me
understand not only his argument and approach, but it helped me connect to the revolutionary
standpoint of that period. Although I havent used this in my actual project yet, it did help me
gain perspective on the thoughts of Alexander Hamilton and it helped in the process of my thesis.

This library of works from Alexander Hamilton made me feel like I was reading his actual
journal along with all of his philosophical ideas on on the government and the people who
supported the government. It allowed me to conduct an inner interview with him in a way
because of his accounts and the sentences he wrote to convey how he wanted to shape the
community as a leader.

Alexander Hamilton although a founding father and one of the most influential writers, he also
had a life outside of trying to improve civilian lives. This site had everything from his military to
his law careers, improving my description of my leader.

These interpretations of the federal papers gave me many ideas on how someone could read
Alexander Hamiltons legacy with the use of modern language and summarization.

The struggles to leadership by Alexander Hamilton was illustrated in this book in extreme details

This was another book which I used that helped in the process of creating my thesis. It spoke of
Alexander Hamiltons legacy enough on its own, but what stood out was that it explained what
he left behind in the end. He was a leader that touched people and convinced them to trust the
government. It showed how he acted in a moment of severity to pass the ultimate protection of
liberties.

Alexander Hamiltons leadership is defined through his contributions such as defending the
Constitution and fighting for its approval with the Federalist Papers as well as trying to find a
way to solve the domestic and foreign debt crisis in America by creating a bank. Both shaped the
political and cultural aspects of the developing nation.
