In The Name of Allah, Most Beneficent, Most Merciful

'O People of the Book! Now hath our Messenger come unto you, expounding unto you much of that which ye used to hide in the scripture, and forgiving much. Now hath come unto you Light (Noor) from Allah and a Plain Scripture.' (THE HOLY QUR'AN 5; 15) The verse '...Now hath come unto you Light from Allah...' refers to our Master Hadhrat Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), as stated in the following Tafsirs by the Mufassireen (Muslim scholars of Tafsir). The word 'Bashr' means human. TAFSIRS OF THE SCHOLARS OF AHL-AL-SUNNAH WAL JAMA'AH: 1. Tafsir Kabir, page 395 2. Tafsir Khazin, page 447 3. Tafsir Baidawi, page 92 4.
