The teacher will introduce the study of famous Americans using the video on Mary Musgrove. The students will be
asked to remember one important fact about Mary Musgrove. After viewing the video, the teacher will list all of the
student responses. The teacher will divide the students into groups. The students will go to their assigned listening
station and view the video again. Each group will return to the whole group with one more fact about Mary Musgrove.
Once there are enough facts for each student, the teacher will support the students in creating a podcast using
Audacity. When the podcast is finished it will be added to the classroom website for others to view.
