ENR 1.4 ATS AIRSPACE CLASSIFICATION


1. Classification of airspace
Airspace in BUCURETI FIR is classified according to the provisions of ICAO Annex 11. Provisions of each
class of airspace are described in the following paragraphs:
Class A. IFR flights only are permitted, all flights are subject to air traffic control service and are separated
from each other. Airspace Class A comprises:
- TMA BUCURETI
Class B. IFR and VFR flights are permitted, all flights are subject to air traffic control service and are
separated from each other. In BUCURETI FIR there is no airspace designated with Class B.
Class C. IFR and VFR flights are permitted, all flights are subject to air traffic control service and IFR flights
are separated from other IFR flights and from VFR flights. VFR flights are separated from IFR flights and receive
traffic information in respect of other VFR flights.
Airspace Class C comprises:
- all ATS routes in BUCURETI FIR
- All Aerodrome Control Zones (CTR): Arad, Bacu, Baia Mare, Bneasa, Otopeni, Cluj, Constana, Craiova,
Iai, Oradea, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Suceava, Trgu Mure, Timioara, Tulcea;
- TMA CONSTANA
- Airspace in BUCURETI FIR above FL105
Class D. IFR and VFR flights are permitted and all flights are subject to air traffic control service, IFR flights
are separated from other IFR flights and receive traffic information in respect of VFR flights, VFR flights receive
traffic information in respect of all other flights.
In BUCURETI FIR there is no airspace designated with Class D.
Class E. IFR and VFR flights are permitted, IFR flights are subject to air traffic control service and are
separated from other IFR flights. All flights receive traffic information as far as is practical. In BUCURETI FIR
there is no airspace designated with Class E.
Class F. IFR and VFR flights are permitted, all participating IFR flights receive an air traffic advisory service
and all flights receive flight information service if requested. In BUCURETI FIR there is no airspace designated
with Class F.
Class G. IFR and VFR flights are permitted and receive flight information service if requested.
Airspace Class G comprises: all Control Zones of Aerial Work and Airfields of Sports Activity, all airspace in
BUCURETI FIR not designated with another class and Restricted Areas.
The requirements for the flights within each class of airspace are as shown in the following table:

ENR 1.4 CLASIFICAREA SPAIULUI AERIAN ATS
1. Clasificarea spaiului aerian

Spaiul aerian din FIR BUCURETI este clasificat n conformitate cu prevederile Anexei 11 OACI.
Prevederile fiecrei clase de spaiu aerian sunt descrise n paragrafele urmtoare:
Clasa A. Sunt permise numai zborurile IFR, toate zborurile sunt supuse serviciului de control al traficului
aerian i li se asigur separarea. Spaiul aerian Clasa A conine:
- TMA BUCURETI.
Clasa B. Sunt permise att zborurile IFR ct i VFR, toate zborurile sunt supuse serviciului de control al
traficului aerian i li se asigur separarea. n FIR BUCURETI nu exist spaiu aerian desemnat cu clasa B.
Clasa C. Sunt permise att zborurile IFR ct i VFR, toate zborurile sunt supuse serviciului de control al
traficului aerian, se asigur separarea zborurilor IFR de alte zboruri IFR i de zborurile VFR. Zborurilor VFR li se
asigur separarea de zborurile IFR i primesc informaii de trafic despre alte zboruri VFR.
Spaiul aerian Clasa C conine:
- toate rutele ATS din FIR BUCURETI
- Zonele de Control de Aerodrom (CTR):Arad, Bacu, Baia Mare, Bneasa, Otopeni, Cluj, Constana,
Craiova, Iai, Oradea, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Suceava, Trgu Mure, Timioara, Tulcea;
- TMA CONSTANA
- tot spaiul aerian din FIR BUCURETI peste FL105.
Clasa D. Sunt permise att zborurile IFR ct i VFR, toate zborurile sunt supuse serviciului de control al
traficului aerian, se asigur separarea zborurilor IFR de alte zboruri IFR i primesc informaii de trafic despre
zborurile VFR. Zborurile VFR primesc informaii de trafic despre toate celelalte zboruri.
n FIR BUCURETI nu exist spaiu aerian desemnat cu clasa D.
Clasa E. Sunt permise att zborurile IFR ct i VFR, zborurile IFR sunt supuse serviciului de control al
traficului aerian i li se asigur separarea de alte zboruri IFR. Toate zborurile primesc informaii de trafic n
msura n care acest lucru este posibil. n FIR BUCURETI nu exist spaiu aerian desemnat cu clasa E.
Clasa F. Sunt permise zboruri IFR i VFR, zborurilor IFR li se asigur serviciul de trafic aerian consultativ i
tuturor zborurilor li se asigur la cerere serviciul de informarea zborurilor. n FIR BUCURETI nu exist spaiu
aerian desemnat cu clasa F
Clasa G. Sunt permise zboruri IFR i VFR, tuturor zborurilor li se asigur la cerere serviciul de informare a
zborurilor.
Spaiul aerian Clasa G conine: toate Zonele de Control de Aerodrom ale aviaiei utilitare i sportive, ntregul
spaiu aerian din FIR BUCURETI care nu este desemnat ca avnd o alt clas i Zonele Restricionate.

traffic volume and for aerial work at low levels;
b) helicopters may be permitted to operate in less than 5000 FT (1500 M) flight visibility, if manoeuvred at a speed that will
give adequate opportunity to observe other traffic or any obstacles in time to avoid collision.

posibilitatea observrii la timp a altui trafic sau a obstacolelor i evitrii coliziunilor cu acestea.
