andCrossbeam.Thiswillrequiretwopeopletocomplete.Notethattheroundedendofthe
cornerpostsisthetopoftheshelf,andtheflatendofthepostsgoesonthefloor.The
rightangleedgeofthecornerpostspointtowardtheoutsideoftheshelf.Alsonotethe
orientationofthesidestaysintheimagebelow.TheUShapedCrossbeamshouldhavethe
flatsidepointingtowardthebottomoftheshelf,andtheUshapedendtowardthetop.There
shouldbefourunoccupiedholesinthecornerpostsbeloweachCrossbeam.Youshoulduse
arubbermalletorhammertotaptheCrossbeamdownfirmlyintotheholesonthecorner
posts.

withtheshapeoftheCrossbeam(theUshapeofthedeckingshouldsitflushagainstthe
UshapedCrossbeam).TheKivaSystemslogoonthedeckshouldsitontopofoneofthe
straightCrossbeam.Ifthedeckdoesnotsittightlyonallsidesyoushouldcheckthatyou
installedallCrossbeamcorrectly.
